What is your experience with the Blessed Herbs cleansing products?

Being in private naturopathic medical practice, I am always looking for products that help my patients resolve their health concerns and are an excellent value for the price. The Blessed Herbs Internal Cleansing Kit and Colon Cleansing Kit are two such products that fit this tall order and that I count on to get results for my patients.

I have used these kits to help people lose weight or to start losing weight again after hitting a plateau in their weight loss program. After completing these kits, other patients of mine were able to stop taking their prescription medications like Nexium. One patient used the kits to treat gall stones and avoided surgery. I have used these kits with many of my patients for a general detox and cleanse. Others have had a variety of skin conditions improve after completing the kits.

All of my patients have had positive results with the Internal Cleansing Kit and Colon Cleansing Kit. The Blessed Herbs products are outstanding in quality and repeatedly help my patients resole their health concerns. Thank you Blessed Herbs!

I love the Blessed Herb kit. Each year, my husband and I do the cleanse twice a year, in Spring and Fall. This kit is complete in itself as it targets every system methodically and by the end of the 3 weeks, one feels lighter, more alive and younger. When discussing cleansing and detoxing, the Blessed Herb Kit is the first cleanse that I recommend. And both my client and I see the results. I congratulate the Herbalists that have put the herbs together for each system using only the finest quality grade home grown herbs.

Dr. Darrell S.C.S. Misak, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

Dr. Darrell S.C.S. Misak
What is your education or professional work experience?

Darrell S.C.S. Misak ND, RPh is an Oregon licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, a Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania, a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and a father of five healthy children. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from West Virginia University in 1992, he gained 3-1/2 years of university hospital experience at Duke University Medical Center. During hospital pharmacy experience, his primary focus was clinical rounding in Oncology and General Medicine before realizing the pitfalls of traditional medicine and searching for a better way. This search for his life's calling led him to move his family across the country and find himself in Portland, Oregon, where he received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Additionally, while in school he was blessed with the opportunity to gain compounding pharmacy experience at Lloyd Center Pharmacy, where understanding and supporting natural medicine is a primary focus. Dr. Misak performs lectures that focus on health alternatives and integrative medicine from a traditional naturopathic approach, as well as having a weekly radio show (A Natural Connection) Fridays from 12 noon till 1:00 pm on WKHB (620AM) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

What is your expertise or focus?

When people ask me what I do, besides explaining naturopathic medicine and my pharmacist background, I tell them my gift is "systems analysis." I've always had the ability to figure out how things work and to find the most efficient way to "beat the system," per se. I believe God has helped me to apply that gift to the human body, with the observation of natural laws in health, to guide people on their path to health. With that said, my focus is on the individual. I attempt to understand each person's health concerns, coping mechanisms, and body's vitality. I look for an individual's observable and probable causes for their symptoms and then formulate a plan to walk them through healing by systematic support and detoxification, after addressing their "causes" of poor health. All the while, I become a cheerleader in helping each person reach their health goals using the tools I've learned through pharmacy and naturopathic medical training.

How do you work with clients?

Primarily by in office consultation, however phone or email consultations are available.

What is the cost and time for initial consultation and follow-up work?

What is your experience with the Blessed Herbs cleansing products?

Whether you are a client, customer, or practitioner, welcome to the first step in taking charge of your health or for those to whom you will help along the way! Detoxification and cleansing with Blessed Herbs products can not only be used as preventative health care, but also to reverse years of accumulated toxins in the body, which has lead to dis-ease processes in the body.

After years of being Natural Health Practitioners, we have reached a level of understanding about how the body works, when it works, and when it doesn't work and just what is needed to bring it back to harmony and balance, or homeostasis. Of course every person is different so the challenge is always in customizing natural health programs for that person that will bring healthy rewards to them in the short-term and long-term. But when you realize what a toxic people we all are, often based on nothing more than what we eat, drink, wear, breathe in, and where we live and work, Herbal Detoxification and Cleansing is usually the first step to regaining health. Rather than trying to suppress symptoms and thus block the ability of the body to eliminate what is irritating it, we aid the cleansing process. We do this by taking herbs and supplements that support the eliminative functions of the body. We recommend that everyone should do at least one two-week cleanse each spring and each fall. Most people will also benefit by starting their health building program with a good cleanse. There are of course, exceptions to this rule, due to specific illness, medication use, pregnancy or nursing, or extreme weakness, anemia or emaciation, when a building program for the body is needed first to strengthen before cleansing.

When you cleanse you may experience many things. Most people say they feel great and had more energy and can't wait to do it again. But as we know there are those whose physical and emotional genetic traits and dispositions to certain dis-eases will create a healing crisis to take place and they may see that cleansing is something difficult. Here is where working with a natural health practitioner is so vital even for cleansing. Education for the client is necessary - in every aspect of any illness they may deal with, understanding Hering's law of cure and how the body will begin the process of cleaning out any cells that may be causing problems, and the different needs for the body, based upon each individual client's different emotions and different beliefs. Cleansing is so diverse in what may happen, that working with each individual and their case will never be the same as anyone else. Because you are not only looking at what they eat, and drink, but what beliefs they have, what emotions abound with them, what traumas that may have occurred in their life, and what they are really willing to change. Cleansing will help any person come to "Know thyself", so that then they realize that only they can cure themselves.

In our work as Practitioners we have discovered many cleanses over the years. The one thing we do know is unless you consider the whole body in cleansing you will not reach the potential to heal any dis-ease, illness or discomfort. On the average it takes 21 to 30 days to cleanse properly the entire body step by step with very deliberate intentions. Martha Volchok co-owner of Blessed Herbs, one of the world's finest herbalists, developed these wonderful Blessed Herbs cleanses which we highly recommend for all of our clients, customers and practitioners to use. Herbal detoxification and cleansing with Blessed Herbs will get you started in a place to begin the process of healing. Then you will want to look at the next step in creating an Herbal Protocol for your health. Please enjoy the wonderful Blessed Herbs cleansing kits and products, and feel free to contact us at any time.

What is your experience with the Blessed Herbs cleansing products?

I have been using Blessed Herbs products for years now. Personally, my skin has never looked better. In fact, my skin looks better today than it did when I graduated from school eight years ago. I know this is from the routine detoxification I go through. Just recently I was visiting Kansas City, my home town, and my aunt said to me, "It looks like you are getting younger...all that "stuff" you do is obviously working." I use Blessed Herbs products every six months for my own personal detoxification program. Furthermore, I have placed many patients on these products and have witnessed improvements in vision and overall health as well as one's energy.

What is your expertise or focus?

In my private practice, I work with clients with cancer, diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, obesity and weight management, bowel disorders, pre and post operation healing, food allergies and intolerances, PMS and menopause, eating disorders, sugar and starch addiction, prenatal and pregnancy, anti aging & longevity, detoxification/cleansing, stress reduction and sports nutrition, as well as Menu development and food ingredients analysis.

How do you work with clients?

I see in clients in person or by phone and e-mail. I would need to have a phone consultation if not seeing them in person, to hear them and get a feel for what they need.

What is the cost and time for initial consultation and follow-up work?

The first session is usually 1 hour and 1/2 and the cost is $125. Follow up depends on the program, sauna therapy, cleanses and what is affordable so it is not adding more stress to someone's life and they still can afford to get the help they need.

What is the preferred method of contact?

Phone and e-mail work ~ I actually need both, because I would need to have a phone conversation to get an idea of what the client needs. Once I listen to what they are saying, I can get a feel for what I need to put together for them and the areas that we need to work on. It's experience and I am intuitive. Then, I would need to see a couple days and weekend of what they are currently eating, supplements, and any medical drugs that they are currently taking, where they carry any extra body fat and any other information that they want to share with me is helpful.
