Herbal Ingredients

Aloe leaf gel – Juice of the Aloe Vera plant can promote healthy protein and nutrient digestion and support healthy bacteria action in the stomach.*

Myrrh gum resin – Prized in ancient Mesopotamian cultures, modern myrrh is still used as both a spice and a medicinal plant. Along with promoting thyroid health, myrrh can support healthy digestion, especially if taken between meals.*

Senna pods – Senna alexandrina has been traditionally used in medicinal bitters because of its laxative properties. When taken in moderation and for short periods of time, Senna is an excellent addition to digestive aides and remedies.*

Camphor bark and wood – the Cinnamomum camphora tree is a large evergreen native to China. Distilled camphor was and still is utilized as a spice as well as for medicinal purposes.*

Chinese Rhubarb root - First cultivated medicinally in ancient China, this species of rhubarb is known as a strong laxative. The root of this valuable herb can enhance appetite and promote healthy digestion as well.*

Zedoary root – Also called White Tumeric, Curcuma zedoaria is native to India and Indonesia. Zeodary is sometimes incorporated into bitter tonics as it promotes healthy digestion and supports a healthy appetite.*

Manna Sap – Also called Flowering Ash, Manna produces a sap that when dried, resembles descriptions of the biblical food by the same name. Manna may exhibit laxative properties, promoting healthy digestion.*

Carline Thistle root – Carlina vulgaris root is used to promote healthy elimination of body waste. It is considered a potent purgative, and supports healthy digestive action as well.*

Angelica root - Angelica Root grows commonly around the world, and has been widely used in traditional, herbal and even spiritual practices across the globe. Angelica Root can promote healthy respiratory function when trying to clear the lungs of stubborn cough. Angelica can also support bowel and stomach wellness.*

Licorice root - Licorice is often used in candy, but has been utilized by traditional Chinese medicine for years, and has strong evidence that supports its ability to modulate airway constriction, ease lung inflammation and provide relief for bronchial problems and pet dander allergies.*
